Brief Bio: Tulku Theglo Rinpoche, also known as Padma Theg Chog Tanpa'i Gyaltsan was recognized by Jamyang Khentse Chokyi Lodru as the incarnation of his second son, Padma Dorje. Tulku Theglo was enthroned when he was five years old and at age ten entered Dodrubchen Monastery in Golog and began his formal studies. He studied under four great Khenpos such as Khenpo Gangnam, Thrindar, Wangdei Gyangtrul Dondrub Dorje and Washul Khenpo Lodru. Rinpoche received empowerments from Dzongsar Khentsei Jamyang Chokyi Lodru, Dzogchen Rinpoche Jigdral Changchub Dorje, Shechen Kongtrul Rinpoche Padma Lekpai Lodru and Dodrubchen Tubten Thrinley Palzangpo, Dodrubchen Rigdzin Tenpai Gyaltsen also known as Rigdzin Jalu Dorje, Dungkar Chogtrul Ngedon Gyatso and others. Dear Sangha,

We have recently heard from Ven. Yangthang Rinpoche regarding the schedule of his visit to the USA and his bestowal of the Nyingma Kama and other wangs at ODD. He said that "if he is able to come he will come around the 3rd week of February, 2013."

Although this is still provisional information we wanted to share it with you all so you can tentatively plan. We should have his final determination and definitive schedule in another 10 days to 2 weeks and of course we will let you know as soon as we hear.

This course presents a comprehensive introduction to the art and science of the Tibetan Mantra Healing (sngags bcos) tradition. Mantra healing is the practice of using sound as a healing medium, using primordial sounds of nature, as well as divine words from the Sanskrit and Tibetan languages. It is a powerful method of bringing balance to various diseases and restoring health for oneself and others.

Dr. Nida will teach on Mantra Healing following the tradition found in the medical texts and a compilation by the great 19th Century master Ju Mipham Rinpoche. This will include general instructions on using mantras for healing, the differences between Vajrayana mantras and healing mantras, as well as a transmission of a pharmacopea of mantras for various functions. There are traditional mantras for many types of diseases and imbalances of body, speech, and mind.

There are traditional Mantras for many types of diseases and imbalances of body, speech, and mind.





Topics include:

· Introduction to Mantra Healing and Tibetan Medicine.

· Theory of how Mantras function, including the Law of Interdependent Origination of all phenomena, the five elements, etc.

· Instruction on usage of Mantras for healing purposes.

· Using Mantras to bless substances, such as medicine, water, gems, and amulets.

· Transmission of many healing Mantras for various diseases, with practical applications.



This type of healing practice is common in the Ngakpa tradition, and is frequently preferred by practitioners over ingesting medicines or other therapies. The use of healing Mantras can enhance the quality of a healing arts practice and can be applied in times of need. The course will consist of Mantra recitation alternating with practical and theoretical teachings.

Orgyen Dorje Den invites you to join us for another historic event with Ven. Yangthang Tulku Rinpoche. At the request of Ven. Gyatrul Rinpoche, starting on March 15th, 2013, Ven. Yangthang Rinpoche will bestow the transmissions from the Nyingma Kama.


The Nyingma Kama, translated as the "Oral Transmission of the Nyingma", in parallel with the terma tradition, is one of two unique streams of teachings in the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. The Nyingma Kama includes Indian root texts and commentaries as well as Tibetan commentaries and instructions based on the Indian tradition. The Kama was brought to Tibet by Guru Rinpoche and other great vajramasters during the early translation period, and passed down in an unbroken stream of blessings from teacher to student to the present day.



Please note, it is also possible that Ven. Yangthang Rinpoche will bestow all or some of the empowerments from Terchen Dorje Dechen Lingpa. We will keep you all informed via email as the details of his schedule and the programs offered become known to us.

Один из наиболее крупных нингмапинских монастырей, - Каток, подерживает практику и передачу кама циклов.
между прочим Сакья до сих пор практикуют и поддерживают кама линии Ваджракилы и Яндак Херуки.
НО несомненно подавляющее большинство практикуют термы различного срока давности, отдавая предпочтение наиболее поздним и породившим некоторое колличество сиддхов.
Ценность сборника кама в том, что там даются ванги мула тантр, на которых сиджется практика целлых классов тантр. например Гухьягарбха тантра- основа практик садхан Махаиоги. "Сутра собрание всех намерений", - мула тантра Ану-иоги и включает в себя посвещения всех коллесниц. Там же содержатся ванги на Семде лонгдэ и Менегде классы тантр Дзогчена. Эти ванги уникальные, имея ванги в мула тантры теоретически ты уполномочен на все практики данного класса. Имея кама ванг, теоретически имеешь полномочия на практики данного цикла всех последующих терм данной мандалы или дэвата. Это весьма удобно.

Ну, в общем, вы пока думайте, а билеты дорожают и гостиницы (снимая дискаунты видя быструю распродажу)
Я уже купил пакет самолёт-гостиница-машина на 8 ночей (23-31 марта). Мой близкий друг ищет билеты хоть на 3 дня (на выходные) из Нью Иорка. Поверьте мне, там будет много-сотенная толпа, примерно, как когда я там был на "Ринчен Тердзо" (собрании терма).

Five Fold Mahamudra Empowerment



The empowerment of Five-Fold Mahamudra composed by Rigdzin Chokyi Dragpa allows one to enter the mandala of the entire scope of Buddhist practice. Five-fold Mahamudra includes the practices of cultivating bodhicitta, meditating upon the yidam deity (Chakrasamvara in this context), guru yoga, mahamudra itself, and dedicating the merit for the enlightenment of all beings. Although the teachings of Five-Fold Mahamudra exist within the scriptures and pith instructions transmitted from India to Tibet, they were synthesized into a single system of practice by the great early Kagyu master, Phagmo Drupa. One of the heart sons of Phagmo Drupa, Jigten Sumgon, the founder of the Drigung Kagyu lineage, recognized the inconceivable value of practicing such a system and taught it widely to his disciples. Jigten Sumgon taught:



Mahamudra is like a lion, but it is blind without the five-fold path.



Thus, the tradition of Five-Fold Mahamudra was spread by his disciples and others and continues to flourish throughout the world to this very day. Later, centuries after the parinirvana of the early Kagyu masters, a sublime being, the first Chungtsang Rinpoche, Rigdzin Chokyi Dragpa, realized that there would be immense benefit if disciples could be introduced to the entire scope of Five-Fold Mahamudra in a single empowerment, and therefore composed this amazing empowerment so that the mind streams of fortunate beings could be ripened to cultivate bodhicitta, realize the deity nature of all beings and phenomena, attain the four kayas of the Guru, be introduced to the nature of the mind of primordial wisdom, and dedicate merit for the benefit of all. It could be said that Five-Fold Mahamudra is the central pillar of practice in the Drigung Kagyu Lineage. Due to many auspicious conditions coming together, Drupon Yeshi Dorje will be giving this precious empowerment to disciples in Vermont. This is a very special opportunity to make or renew a strong connection with the living Drigung Kagyu lineage and its masters of practice to set forth or continue with renewed vigor upon the Vajrayana path to Buddhahood.

These teachings will focus on the Mahamudra section of The Words of Vajradhara Dharmakirti. This text is considered one of the most important commentaries on the Path of Five Fold Mahamudra and is generally only given in Three Year Retreat. The Mahamudra section in particular contains the quintessence of the pith oral instructions on realizing and abiding in the nature of mind that have come down from the primordial Buddha Vajradhara, the great Indian Mahasiddhas such as Tilopa, Naropa, Saraha, the great Tibetan masters such as Marpa, Milarepa, Gampopa, Phagmodrupa, and Lord Jigten Sumgon. This is a Mahamudra text like no other and can only be taught by a teacher with great realization like Drupon Trinley Yeshi Rinpoche who has perfected the practices of Five Fold Mahamudra and guided many others to realization of the profound path of Mahamudra. In this text one is guided through a series of introductions to Mind's true nature. The Path of Five Fold Mahamudra is a profound system which helps bring about realization through practical and skillful means and in essence contains the complete path to Buddhahood. Even for those practicing other Mahamudra, Dzogchen, or Madhyamika traditions will find these pith instructions to be of great practical benefit to ones practice through the power of the blessings that flow down through a living lineage of realization right to the present moment. Я некогда "сгнонял" на всё это и многое другое на праздник открытия нового центрав "Чагдуд Гонпа" в пригородах Сиетла. Yangti Nagpo Information by Sarah Schneider Dungtso Repa the Earlier, was a tertön in the thirteenth century in Tibet. His reincarnation was Dungtso Repa the Later in the fifteenth century in Tibet. Dungtso Repa the Later became a disciple and then the consort of the female tertön, Kunga Bum. From among the treasures he revealed, three are most famous. The last of these was revealed in Lake Mandal Nagpo behind Dakpo Gampo Monastery. From this lake, Dungtso Repa discovered a treasure casket. Inside was the cycle called, The Single Golden Letter of the Black Quintessence in English, yang ti nag po gser gyi ‘bru gcig in Tibetan. Much later, the previous incarnation of Trulshik Rinpoche, named Trulshik Do-ngag Lingpa (1862-1922) rediscovered the Black Quintessence, or Yangti Nagpo in the form of a mind treasure. This second opening of the treasure added the Lama and Dakini to the three roots practice of the peaceful and wrathful ones, and also supplemented practical instructions. There is both the long lineage transmission for this cycle, and the short lineage. The short lineage for the Black Quintessence goes from Dungtso Repa the Later, to Trulshik Do-ngag Lingpa, to Shuksep Jetsunma (1828-1953) to Trulshik Do-ngag Lingpa’s reincarnation, Trulshik Rinpoche (1923-2011), to Tulku Sang-ngag Rinpoche. Tulku Sang-ngag Rinpoche has a close connection to this practice. Rinpoche is the reincarnation of Gochen Tulku Drimed Lingpa. There is some dispute over how many reincarnations there have been. Some say Tulku Sang-ngag Rinpoche is the fifth incarnation, some say the sixth. Going with Tulku Sang-ngag Rinpoche being the fifth incarnation of Gochen, the third incarnation was named Tsewang Tendzin. Tsewang Tendzin’s primary meditation practice was the Black Quintessence, as was his sister’s. They focused on this cycle, the Black Quintessence, as their main practice. Therefore, when Tulku Sang-ngag Rinpoche was living in Nepal, he made a point to receive the Black Quintessence from Trulshik Rinpoche. ...

His Eminence Chöje Ayang Rinpoche is considered the world's living master of Phowa, the transference of consciousness at the time of death. A lineage-holder of both the Nyingma and Drikung Phowa, he continues the unbroken line of Drikung Phowa lamas from Buddha Vajradhara. Drikung Seattle is delighted to welcome two experienced yogis and retreat masters–Drupon Yeshi Rinpoche and Drupon Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche to Seattle. They are highly esteemed retreat masters of the Drikung Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism (read more about them on our webpage). This is their first visit to Seattle-please join us!

The weekend program offers the profound and precious Five-Fold Path of Mahamudra Empowerment and Teachings. Drikung Kagyu specializes in the system of Mahamudra known as the "Five-fold Path.” The five parts refer to bodhicitta, deity-yoga, guru-yoga, actual mahamudra and dedication. This teaching is the cornerstone of the Drikung Kagyu lineage and practice tradition.

These events are suitable to all levels, everyone is welcome. Drikung Seattle was founded by H.E. Garchen Rinpoche in

2012. Teaching Schedule:

Friday, August 30, 7-9pm Drupon Yeshi Rinpoche will offer the Five-Fold Path of Mahamudra Empowerment.

Saturday & Sunday, August 31-September 1, 10am-12pm and 2pm-5pm, Drupon Yeshi Rinpoche and Drupon Rinchen Dorjee will teach on the Five-Fold Path of Mahamudra.

On Monday, September 2 (Labor Day), 10am-12pm (note-different location this day only-3003 NW 66th Street, Seattle, WA 98117) Drupon Yeshi Rinpoche will give a very rare and unusual teaching about secret yogic healing. How do yogis heal themselves when they are in isolated locations in strict retreat? The healing technique is called Jangbu in Tibetan and Drupon Yeshi Rinpoche will give an overview of this ancient healing practice.

Teachings will be in Tibetan with English translation. Details and online registration available on our website. Please register so we have enough materials prepared for you.

September 25-29 – 10am – 4pm - Registration begins June 1st – Once again we are blessed with a teaching from H. E. Menri Lopon Rinpoche. He has graciously agreed to give us the teaching on the second part of the Golden Essence-Instructions. This oral teaching was first given by Denpa Namkha in the seventh century. It is one of the most important instructions in Bon Dzogchen tradition and has been a closely guarded teaching passed down among a group of practitioners. This is the second time this teaching is being given in the West. The first was given in Southern California in 2010 organized by Khyungdzong Wodsel Ling. We are fortunate that Rinpoche has agreed to give us this precious instruction which will benefit all of us tremendously. Anybody who is a Dzgochen practitioner is welcome to attend this teaching, whether he or she had received previous teachings or transmissions in the past or not. Please RSVP as early as you can since we have limited space.

Khenchen Rinpoche will lead us through a study of the “Natural Self-Liberation of Mind” composed by Longchenpa (1308-1383), one of the greatest masters in the Nyingma tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. The text for this teaching offers Dzogchen instructions concerning the self-liberating nature of all phenomena, and asserts that samsara and nirvana, sentient and enlightened beings, are equivalent in their primordial nature – pure and enlightened. A copy of the text will be provided.



Please note: The Saturday program is only open to students who have received Ngondro Teachings

AND either a Guru Padmasambhava or other Inner Tantra Empowerment.
