Brief Bio: Tulku Theglo Rinpoche, also known as Padma Theg Chog Tanpa'i Gyaltsan was recognized by Jamyang Khentse Chokyi Lodru as the incarnation of his second son, Padma Dorje. Tulku Theglo was enthroned when he was five years old and at age ten entered Dodrubchen Monastery in Golog and began his formal studies. LONG LIFE PRACTICE OF THE VIDYADHARAS Lama Tsering Wangdu Rinpoche and Swami Chetanananda will offer an empowerment and teachings on the Long Life Practice of the Vidyadharas known as The Distilled Essence from the Vase of Amrita, from the Longchen Nyingthig Cycle of Teachings.
The empowerment will be on Saturday, November 19 from 10 am to 3 pm, and the teachings on Sunday, November 20, from 12 pm to 4 pm.

Lama Wangdu Rinpoche, a Chöd master and a lineage holder of Padampa Sangye's Shije tradition, will offer empowerments and teachings from Tibetan siddha Thangtong Gyalpo's collection of Chenrezig practices called All Pervading Benefit of Beings. This is the first time that Rinpoche has offered to teach these practices in the United States.

Prerequisite: Refuge. Introduction, explanation, puja, and empowerment (wang) of the Kunrig (Sarvavid-Vairocana) practice. Kunrig is the main deity in the Elimination of Bad Rebirths. Participants will learn about the traditional 49 days memorial and spiritual practices that lamas can perform near the time of death (sur). This empowerment is to help prepare oneself for the time of death. Receiving this empowerment will be of great benefit to oneself and all sentient beings. The empowerment helps to clear our body, speech, and mind of obscurations, attachments and desires in this life, after passing, during the bardo, and in the next life. Ven. Пардон, не заметил вопрос.
Работают по разному и достаток соответственно разнится. Есть те, кто живут на посoбие и подработками за наличные (не платя налоги). У професионалов зависит от компании на которую работают и опыта работы.
Большинство асоциируют себя с одним центром и только ламами его посещающими. Соответственно события 1-2 раза в год. Вообще большнство меропроятй проводят в выходные. Если живёте в Ньйку Иорке или в раионе Сан Франциско то тогда набрать вангов и учений лет за 5-7 можно достаточно много. List of buddhist centers at San Francisko bay area
Мoжно следить за всеми объявлениями и подписаться на информационные извещения интересующих вас центров в нескольких шататах и следить за планами. Соответственно и планировать свой отпуск. я лично, следую этой стратегии и старають летать в Калифорнию сразу на "пачку" вангов или нечто редкое, что дают раз в 5-10 лет. Или на то, на что вышли достaточно подробные комментарии и не хватает только ванга. Вот через пару недель полeчу k Choden Rinpoche на Чакрасамвару Гантапы, - вышло уже пару книг коментариев (гелукпинскиx) на эту систему с интрукциями и на ретрит и на зогрим. А Чакрасамвару получал много систем (Луипы, Кришначарьи, Тилопы, Нигумы), но не эту.
Тем более, через годы, когда набрано уже много, особенно целыми циклами, то не так уж и много интерестных событий, ради которых стоит ехатьили лететь! Ведь большинство вангов дают одних и тех же: Ченрази, Амитаба, Падмасамбхава, Тара, Ваджрасатва, Будда медицины, Амитаюс и Ваджракила.
Я лично, припал на центры Гьятрул Р. (Alameda, CA)., где дают нингмапинскими целыми циклами и центр сакьяпинского ламы Кунги (Kingsengton, CA). А находящийся в десяткe кварталов от меня Майтрипа Каледж как то не долюбливаю и был там всего 2 раза. С ванга знаменитого ламы Cопы вообще ушёл, - не лeжит душа к такому стилю... Короче говоря, дай бог приедите, поживёте, поработаете,- сами увидите и будете "крутить носом" и выбирать одно-два из доступного десятка вангов! А заодно посмеётесь над русским поверьем о "бездуховности американцев".

H.E. Dagmo Kusho will be leading us on Monday, June 4th, in a one day retreat for Green Tara and Nyen Nay vows on Saka Dawa, the beginning of the fourth Tibetan lunar month of the Tibetan calendar. We will be doing the 4-Mandala Green Tara practice, the 21 Praises of Tara, the recitation of many Tara and 1,000-Armed Chenrezi mantras, and performing many prostrations.

About the Nang Jang Teachings
H.H. About HH Getse Rinpoche
Within the Early Translation School of the Nyingma lineage in Tibet, Katog Gonpa is one of the main, mother monasteries. Considered to be like the spring that is the source of a river, it has over three hundred branch monasteries throughout Tibet. This main monastery has five major reincarnate masters who oversee it called "the Five Golden Throne Holders." Of these, H.H. Getse Rinpoche has been recognized as the fourth incarnation of the great pandita scholar, pure upholder of vows, and accomplished siddha--Wangchug Getse Mahapandita.
Born in Golog, Tibet, Rinpoche was recognized by His Holiness the Sixteenth Karmapa, the previous Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche, and Adzom Gyalsé Rinpoche. From a very early age, he received teachings and empowerments from Dudjom Lingpa's grandson Tulku Nyila, Khenchen Jigmé Puntsok Rinpoche, Adzom Drukpa, Katok Moktsa Rinpoche, Khenpo Ngakchung, and H.H. the Dalai Lama.
Throughout his entire life he has maintained the lifestyle of an "ascetic (ja-dral in Tibetan)", meaning one free from worldly concerns and activities.
In particular, he is a pure lineage holder and has become very close to H.H. Dalai Lama and is like his heart son. These days he travels the world over upholding activity for the benefit of beings out of his great compassion.
The sessions
The requirement for everyone attending these teachings is to have taken refuge vows in a formal ceremony. Getse Rinpoche will be giving refuge vows in a ceremony on Thursday evening, July 26th, at 7 PM.
Rinpoche will give introductory teachings on Friday afternoon, July 27th, from 3 to 5 PM.
The first formal session of teachings on the Nang Jang will begin on Friday evening at 7 PM.
The weekend sessions will run from 10 AM through 5 PM on both Saturday and Sunday. The specific times for lunch each day will depend on Rinpoche and exactly when he wishes to break for the mid-day meal.
On Saturday the teachings will be followed by a tsog for Guru Padmasambhava. Please bring a food offering for the tsog.
Fees for the event
For those attending the refuge ceremony on Thursday evening and/or the Friday afternoon introductory teachings, please make a personal offering to Rinpoche.
The fee for the Friday evening session is $35. Saturday and Sunday fees are $55 for each day. Attend both Saturday and Sunday for $100, or attend the whole event for $125.
As previously mentioned, attendees are strongly encouraged to attend every session in order to receive the complete transmission. Rather than giving the entire reading transmission at the beginning of the teaching, Rinpoche will be giving the reading transmission throughout the teachings, following the visionary chapters in Dudjom Lingpa's treasure text.

"Mountain Retreat" teachings with Lama Tharchin Rinpoche this Thanksgiving November 22-25, 2012
During this retreat, Lama Tharchin Rinpoche will give teachings on a quintessential Dzogchen Great Perfection text, commonly known as "Mountain Retreat"(The full title is Ri Chod: Extracting the Quintessence of Accomplishment – Oral Instructions for the Practice of Mountain Retreat Expounded Simply and Directly in their Essential Nakedness)
Mountain Retreat was written by HH Dudjom Rinpoche for his group of three year retreatants. Lama Tharchin Rinpoche was part of that retreat and received these instructions at that time. While these are retreat instructions, they are of vital relevance not only for those in retreat but for the majority of us who must integrate our Dharma practice with the phenomena of our daily lives.
In Lama Tharchin Rinpoche’s words:
“These perfect instructions show us how to begin, how to continue our practice, and how to conclude our lives completely integrated with the Dharma, maintaining that continually until reaching enlightenment.
"This Mountain Retreat is in the upadesha [Dzogchen pointing out] tradition. The entire essence of the Buddhadharma coalesces in just a few vajra words from HH Dudjom Rinpoche’s realization. It is like the great adept Jigme Lingpa said that he doesn’t have the patience to wait three eons to attain enlightenment. Rather, just remain in rigpa, the ultimate true Buddha that is within our essence of mind, which is brilliant, luminous, present awareness. Recognize that perfect view, maintain that awareness through meditation, and integrate our view and meditation in action. This kind of awakening isn’t based on time or on developing gradually, but rather realization is instantaneous … Personally speaking, it is more effective for me to read this Mountain Retreat rather than one hundred thousand other Dharma books.
"Also, my personal connection to this text is very special. HH Dudjom Rinpoche directly gave us this instruction while I was in 3-year retreat at the Lama Ling Rigdzin Gatshal Drubdra in Kongpo, Tibet. Since I received this instruction in my early twenties, it has been so special and essential for my personal practice. It is the text I return to again and again for advice on how to fully integrate my life with the Dharma ...
"My Vajrayana Foundation friends did request these teachings for this Thanksgiving Retreat, in particular saying that we never know about our future and how long any of us will be here together. And so while I am in no way qualified with my knowledge or experience, I recall Dungse Thinley Norbu Rinpoche told me that in the West people don’t have the knowledge or time to do practice, but still just merely hearing precious pith teachings such as these can plant a seed for realization and not to fear teaching this kind of high teaching. In the same way, we all can listen and benefit from such teachings according to our own capacity. We already received these teachings from our lord protector Dungse Thinley Norbu Rinpoche, so I can just remind our sangha and keep the flame burning.”

PHOWA: His Eminence Chöje Ayang Rinpoche is the world’s most highly regarded Master of Phowa, the transference of consciousness at the time of death. Rinpoche refers to training in Phowa as “the Tibetan Buddhist way of fearless living, dying and liberation”. Rinpoche teaches in English, and there will be translation into Vietnamese and Mandarin for this course in the Los Angeles (Orange County) area.
PHOWA-RELATED EMPOWERMENTS: For the first time in North America, Rinpoche will bestow a group of three Phowa-related empowerments: Vajrasattva, Milarepa, and Vajrayogini. Together with the empowerments of Amitabha, Amitayus, Chenrezig and Vajrapani, which are included as part of his Phowa Course, these three empowerments will enhance the practice of Phowa. Individuals may also take these empowerments simply for their blessing power, or to deepen their own practices of Vajrasattva, Milarepa or Vajrayogini, as they relate to Ngondro (Preliminary Practice), True Nature of Mind, and development and completion stage practices from other Buddhist traditions.
BUDDHA AMITABHA LONG SADHANA TEACHING: Rinpoche will explain A Sadhana Recitation of Maha Sukhavati, A Mind Treasure from the Profound Whispered Lineage of the Space Dharma, by the 17th century treasure revealer Mingyur Dorje. This text is used in most Nyingma and Kagyu lineages as a devotional prayer to accomplish the development and completion stage practices of Buddha Amitabha.
BUDDHA AMITABHA 10 LEVELS MEDITATION TEACHING: This teaching also comes from the Namchö (Space Dharma) tradition of Mingyur Dorje. These teachings encompass the complete path of Buddhist meditation practice, including calm abiding (Shamata), the development stage of visualizing oneself as a deity surrounded by the Pure Land of Amitabha, the completion stage of resting in the True Nature of Mind (rigpa), and the union of development and completion stages together. Included are teachings on Dream Yoga and Clear Light Yoga, both components of the Six Yogas of Naropa. There will be translation into Vietnamese for this course in Houston.Becky

About H.E. Garchen Rinpoche Born in Nangchen, Kham, in 1937, Garchen Rinpoche was enthroned at the age of 7 by Drikung Kabyong Rinpoche as the 8th Kyabje Garchen Triptrul Rinpoche. During the turmoil of the Chinese invasion of Tibet Garchen Rinpoche left his three year retreat to aid the Khampa rebels. He was subsequently imprisoned and for over 20 years faced great hardship in a Communist prison camp. Practicing in secret, Garchen Rinpoche attained realization. Today Garchen Rinpoche maintains an extensive series of Dharma centers throughout the world as well as his original monastery in Kham. He is known worldwide for his boundless compassion and for his clear, pure transmission of the Great Seal of Mahamudra.
All proceeds from the movie and teachings will be used to create the Drikung Seattle Dharma center!
