Brief Bio: Tulku Theglo Rinpoche, also known as Padma Theg Chog Tanpa'i Gyaltsan was recognized by Jamyang Khentse Chokyi Lodru as the incarnation of his second son, Padma Dorje. Tulku Theglo was enthroned when he was five years old and at age ten entered Dodrubchen Monastery in Golog and began his formal studies. He studied under four great Khenpos such as Khenpo Gangnam, Thrindar, Wangdei Gyangtrul Dondrub Dorje and Washul Khenpo Lodru. Rinpoche received empowerments from Dzongsar Khentsei Jamyang Chokyi Lodru, Dzogchen Rinpoche Jigdral Changchub Dorje, Shechen Kongtrul Rinpoche Padma Lekpai Lodru and Dodrubchen Tubten Thrinley Palzangpo, Dodrubchen Rigdzin Tenpai Gyaltsen also known as Rigdzin Jalu Dorje, Dungkar Chogtrul Ngedon Gyatso and others. The empowerments received from them included the Rinchen Terdzod, the thirteen sadhanas of the Kama lineage, the Nyingthig Yabzhi, the Nyingthig Tsapod, the Dupa Do, the eighteen divisions on the meaning of Ah from the mind class, the Vajra Bridge of the expanse class, the Damcho, Dechen lamchog, the three aspects of Kagyad, the Sakya'i kunrig, the generation and completion stage of liberation through hearing, including all the reading transmissions.

The White Mahakala is a “wish-granting gem” (that’s a translation of the Tibetan name).
He gives all kinds of wealth and prosperity, both material and the highest spiritual.
This empowerment is open to everyone. Practice sadhanas will be available. There is a requested donation of $30.
Dana (offering to the Lama) is separate. The starting time is 1 pm. Please arrive earlier to register at the door.

Nejang (Tib. གནས་སྦྱངས་) is a Tibetan healing yoga practice that literally means ‘cleaning the energy sites of the body.’
It consists of simple breath work, physical exercises, and self-massage designed to improve the function of the sense organs and inner organs,
balance the internal energy, open the channels, and relax the mind. It has its roots in the Tibetan Buddhist Kalachakra spiritual tradition, and has been prescribed to patients by Tibetan physicians for centuries.

In this four-class series, we will discuss the basics of Tibetan Medicine and the subtle anatomy of the body according to that system.
We will then learn and practice the twenty four Nejang exercises and explore their specific therapeutic applications.

Biography of Tulku Thadral Rinpoche

Tulku Thadral was born in India in 1970 – the son of Drolma and Dondrub, the latter a yogi responsible for the Sang-ngak Choling Monastery.
At the age of four he was recognized by HH Dudjom Rinpoche as the reincarnation of Lama Thadral Dorje, a close disciple of Dudjom Lingpa who
had achieved rainbow body. He received refuge vows from Nyoshul Khenpo Jamyang Rinpoche and Bodhicitta vows from His Holiness the Dalai
Lama and Taklung Tsetrul Rinpoche, followed by novice vows and full ordination from Kyabje Trulshik Rinpoche and Taklung Tsetrul Rinpoche.

Tulku Thadral Rinpoche received the Vajrayana vows as well as the Kama and Terma transmissions from HH Dudjom Rinpoche,
HH Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, HH Dodrupchen Rinpoche, Kyabje Dungse Thinley Norbu Rinpoche and Kyabje Khetsun Sangpo Rinpoche.
Among Tulku Thadral's other teachers are Khenpo Thubten, Pema Tsewang Lhundrup,
Khenpo Tsewang Rigdzin, Khenpo Gelek Tenzin and Lama Chimed Rinpoche.

In early 1998, after graduating from his studies of sutra and tantra, Taklung Tsetrul Rinpoche and Khetsun Sangpo Rinpoche enthroned
Rinpoche as Khentrul Thadral Rinpoche, “Khentrul” being the title bestowed on one with a Khenpo degree, also recognized as a tulku,
and possessing a high level of realization. Since graduating, he has mainly taught at the Dudjom Shedra and in 2003 was appointed by
Khetsun Sangpo Rinpoche as its Principal and Director of Education, a position he continues to hold to this day.
Tulku Thadral Rinpoche also spends time teaching elsewhere in Asia and also in the West.

As the embodiment of the Great Wisdom Mother, Green Tara is the Savior of all beings. Meditation on Green Tara is believed to be very effective in releasing beings from distressing circumstances both great and small.

Her Eminence Dagmo Kusho Sakya was born in Kham, Eastern Tibet. As the niece of one of the most highly realized Sakya Masters of the twentieth century, H.E. Dezhung Rinpoche III, her training in Buddhist practice began at an early age. She has received extensive teachings and empowerments from many great lamas of all four schools of Tibetan Buddhism throughout her lifetime. Dagmola is married to H.H. Jigdal Dagchen Sakya of the Khön lineage, the Head Lama of the Sakya order of Tibetan Buddhism. Dagmola specializes in Tara empowerments, practices, and teachings, and has many students throughout the world.

The Zhije tradition has been greatly influential in all the schools of Tibetan Buddhism.
Lama Tsering Wangdu Rinpoche, who was born in Dingri, is an accomplished practitioner of this tradition.

On November 21 and 22, Rinpoche will be giving teachings and empowerments for three special and very powerful meditation practices from the Zhije tradition.

The texts for these had been guarded for centuries by a group of nuns in Dingri Valley, who arranged to have them carried out of Tibet so they could be translated and published. The practices are:

Glorious Giver of Siddhi: A Troma Nagmo Secret Sadhana Torma Empowerment

At the request of our teacher Lama Zopa Rinpoche, we are beginning group accumulation practice of the Ksitigarbha mantra at Maitripa College on Thursdays (7:30pm – 9pm) in December. Please join us if you can.

“Lama Zopa Rinpoche has been bringing it up many, many times and feels that this is extremely important:
it is inevitable an earthquake will happen in California and according to Rinpoche it seems next year is quite possible.

Rinpoche has checked and below are some things that need to happen as soon as possible,” Ven. Roger Kunsang wrote in an email that went out to FPMT centers, projects and services in California in early November.

“The below needs to be completed by February 2016,” he wrote:

1,800,000 recitations of the long Kshitigarbha mantra done as part of a Kshitigarbha practice.
Taking the Eight Mahayana precepts 300 times.
Performing the extensive Medicine Buddha puja – ongoing.
Reading of the Tengyur four times – to be done at Sera Je Monastery.
“We need to accumulate 163,099 mantras weekly – 23,300 daily – by January 31 in order to meet the goal,” said Ven. Tenzin Tsomo at Land of Medicine Buddha. By Tuesday, November 17, about 8,200 long Kshitigarbha mantras have been accumulated.

Motivation for the Practice
Please motivate at the beginning that your Kshitigarbha practice is not just for the pacification of the earthquake but to free all sentient beings from oceans of samsaric suffering, to bring the numberless sentient beings from each realm to full enlightenment. To do this, you need to achieve enlightenment. Therefore you need to purify negative karma and especially the two obscurations and collect extensive merits, in order to have all the realizations on the path to enlightenment. Therefore you are going to do the practice and do it not only for the earthquakes in California and Nepal but for all earthquakes in the world.

Suggestions on how to start the practice:
By number: What works for quite a few people is to start with 3 recitations per day. From the numbers reported since Nov 8, we see an increase in the number recited after about 7-10 days, from 3 mantras a day to up 14 or 21, and up to 54 or more!
By time: Try starting with five minutes of mantra recitation and build it up to 15 minutes. Maintain at 15 minutes for a while until you are able to recite about 21 mantras. Then increase the recitation time if you wish.
You can also play the audio recording of mantra, chant along and include those mantras in the count. There are recordings of Yangsi Rinpoche, Ven Steve and Ven Drimay leading group practices at Land of Medicine Buddha - below.

If you want to memorise the mantra, we advise you not to right from the start! It tends to happen quite naturally with lots of recitation over time, and it is certainly easier to memorise it when you are familiar.

Just do what you can manage and enjoy the practice! Lama Zopa Rinpoche gave a nice visualisation to go along with the mantra recitation.

Notes on the mantra recitation:
Mantras should be recited. It can't be just reading with your eyes or mind. The mouth, lips, and tongue need to be moving like they would when reciting out loud. It is sadi that mantra recitation should be loud enough for you to hear but not so loud that others can hear. Generally in group practice, we have tended to whisper.
It is more important to do it slowly and properly, than fast and make mistakes.

With faith and devotion toward the Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha, with recitation of his sutra or mantra, one receives five benefits:

1. Natural disasters will be prevented, and one will not be injured by them.

2. One will be freed from obstacles and the danger of evil forces and be able to enjoy life with joy and happiness.

3. One will be very successful in all one’s activities and have one’s wishes fulfilled.

4. One will be saved from rebirth in the hells and have only higher rebirths in all future lives.

5. One will grow one’s inner seed of love and wisdom and be able to enjoy the inner fruits of peace, liberation and full awakening.

H.E. Asanga Rinpoche will bestow the Amitayus-Hayagriva Initiation. The practice of Amitayus, the Buddha of Boundless Life and Wisdom, is a meditative yoga for a prolonged and meaningful life, transcending sickness, disease and untimely death. Hayagriva represents protection. This fierce protector is a terrifying form of Noble Chenrezi (Sanskrit - Avalokitshvara).

Tang Tong Gyalpo is a legendary Buddhist master reputed to have an incredible lifespan of 125 years. Believed to be Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche) appearing in the world to benefit living beings, Tang Tong Gyalpo constructed 58 iron suspension bridges, 60 wooden bridges, 118 ferries, 111 stupa monuments, countless temples and monasteries, and is credited for the creation of Tibetan opera. According to Tibetan Buddhist tradition, it is believed that putting Tang Tong Gyalpo’s picture over a door or window serves as an Earthquake Protection Amulet.

His Eminence Khondung Asanga Vajra Sakya is the son of H.E. Khöndung Ani Vajra Sakya Rinpoche, the second son of the Phuntsok Phodrang family and Dagmo Chimey la. He is also the grandson of H.H. Dagchen Rinpoche and therefore a direct descendent of the unbroken Khon lineage which dates back to 1073. Asanga Vajra Rinpoche is also the grandson of H.E. Garje Khamtul Rinpoche, a highly realized and accomplished Nyingmapa master on his mother’s side. His Eminence Khöndung Asanga Vajra Sakya Rinpoche was born on May 1st, 1999 in Seattle Washington. In April of 2005, at the age of five and in accordance with his wish, Asanga Vajra Rinpoche left the comforts of home and family in Seattle, Washington to begin his new life to study and train at the Tharlam Monastery in Boudhanath, Nepal. In 2007, he received the Lamdre Tsogshay teaching from his paternal grandfather, H.H. Dagchen Rinpoche. The following year, Asanga Rinpoche received the Lamdre Lobshey teachings from his paternal granduncle H.H. Sakya Trizin Rinpoche. He has also received many other very important empowerments, teachings and religious instructions from other great masters such as H.H. the Dalai Lama, H.E. Chögye Trichen, H.E. Khenchen Appey Rinpoche, H.E. Luding Khenchen as well as from his maternal grandfather H.E. Khamtul Rinpoche. In 2011, Asanga Rinpoche successfully passed his examination on the Vajrakilaya puja and rituals with a perfect score and was also the youngest lineage holder in exile to have successfully undertaken the rigorous preparation and examination.

In the past in Tibet this drubchen was only open to those who had taken vows of ordination and who had completed the common preliminary practices as well as the particular preliminary practices of Yamantaka. It is thus asked that those who participate prepare by accumulating refuge and Vajrasattva mantras, taking refuge and purifying one’s mindstream as much as possible prior to the retreat. One of the main prerequisites for participating in the Yamantaka Drubchen is to have accumulated 100,000 Peaceful Manjushri mantras (OM WAM GI SHWARI MUM). If you have already done this accumulation for a prior Yamantaka Drubchen, it is not necessary to do it again. If you have not done this accumulation, Rinpoche asks that you complete it before the drubchen starts. If you are unable to accomplish this, Rinpoche asks that you accumulate as many of the mantras prior to the start as possible, but then must accumulate 200,000 mantras no later than one year from the date the drubchen ends. The fruition of the Yamantaka drubchen is not attained unless the Manjushri accumulation is completed as Rinpoche indicates.

He will be also teaching Three Circles Yantra Yoga, a continuation of his past Yantra Yoga class,
on March 27th. Khenpo Jampa Rinpoche will be bestowing the Kunrik Empowerment on March
6th and teaching a 5-part series on the Three visions and is often taught at the beginning of
Lamdre Teachings. He will hold a question and answer session.

Я не слашал про существование такого.
Трул кхор из ЛамДре (саьяпинская Хеваджра, линия устной передачи),- это передают. Передают различные нингмапинские и бонские трукхоры, медицинский нейджанг (на оснве медицинских тантр и калачакры).
я проходил обучение по 4-ём системам; 2 дзогценовские и 2 танртические

НО они все похожи по сути, - кумбхака с различные простыми движениями, самомосажем, бандхами.
Всё разбито пo комплексам и описано, что противодействует каким прпятствиям, дисболансам и т.п.

На самом деле большинство систем рекоммендуют практиковать несколько упражнений регулярно и остальны, после освоения, для преодаления конретных проблем.

Есть конечно сложные "акробатические" стили трул-кхоров (вроде прыжков на попу из положения стоя, завязываясь в воздухе в лотос), -
но такому на "Западе" не учат. Я расспрашивал, - тибетские мастера отбирают для таких трул-кхоров молодых гибких ребят,
которые потом передают эти системы таким же "акробатам".

Зогрим со знаками передают обычно в рамках ретритов (недельных или месячных).
Самые популярные, - это нигмапинсйкие термы, Ваджраиогини Наропы, Хеваджра, Гухьясамаджа.

Бывает и более редкая экзотика, но она редко широко рекламируется и даётся ламами активу своей организации в небольших ретритах.
Ну и те, кто подписываются на 3-ёх летние ретриты в США, те оычно получают по крайней мере тумо Ваджраварахи или "6 иог Наропы", тумо из "Нам Чо", "Лонгчен
Нинтик"или "Дуджём терсар".

The Chenresig with Mahamudra initiation allows one to practice Mahamudra in the context of a Chenresig sadhana.

This weekend begins the teaching of Shardza Rinpoche’s Heart Drops of Dharmakaya with the Rushan teachings. These teachings have three divisions: the body, speech, and mind. After reviewing Shardza Rinpoche’s writings Chaphur Rinpoche has chosen to focus on the mind division as these teachings best prepare students for teachings on thegchod or cutting through to the nature of mind. As Lopon Tenzin Namdak has said: It is not possible to identify or know what students have not already encountered in meditation. In order to be introduced to your mind nature, you must have already encountered it in meditation.

This weekend on the mind-rushan teachings of the Heartdrops of Dharmakaya will be very practice oriented. On the first day we will investigate in meditation the nature of our mind using Shardza’s nine-fold approach for identifying the nature of mind. On the second day students will investigate the arising, abiding, and movement of mind. Students will have the opportunity to share the results of their meditation with Rinpoche to receive guidance on identifying the nature of their mind.

Ati Yoga, also known as Dzogchen, is a meditation technique to directly reveal the ultimate nature of our mind. It is most commonly translated as ‘Great Perfection’ or 'Great Completeness' since it is a practice which completely ends samsara. In the Yuthok Nyingthig cycle of spiritual teachings the chapter on Ati Yoga is called ‘The Self-Liberation of Samsara-Nirvana’. It is the secret path of Trekchö and Tögel for realizing the final rainbow body, the expression of the complete transformation and control over the elements of matter, energy, and mind.
2016, the year of the Fire Monkey, is a most powerful spiritual year — according to Padmasambhava’s prophecy, it is the year of his emanation on this planet, a time when his energies are particularly strong and prevalent. In honor of this auspicious year, Dr. Nida is offering these rare and profound teachings for the first time in the United States.
